REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
At Budget Cars, we are committed to ensuring complete customer satisfaction with every purchase, sale, or service experience. As our vehicles are pre-owned and all transactions are conducted after a detailed inspection and mutual agreement at the time of delivery, we have established the following Refund and Cancellation Policy to promote transparency and safeguard the interests of both parties involved.
1. Vehicle Purchase & Booking Cancellation Policy
At Budget Cars, once the full payment has been made and the ownership documents are signed or vehicle delivery is completed, no cancellations or refunds will be permitted under any circumstances. We strongly advise all customers to carry out a complete inspection and test drive before making the final payment.
For booking cancellations, customers may cancel their car booking within 48 hours of paying the booking amount. In such cases, a cancellation fee of ₹2,000 or 5% of the booking amount (whichever is higher) will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be refunded within 7 working days through the original payment method.
2. Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy
At Budget Cars, we aim to ensure transparency and clarity regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds. As our vehicles are pre-owned and inspected before delivery, all sales are considered final unless stated otherwise in a written agreement.
2.1 Refund Conditions
Refunds will only be processed under the following specific circumstances:
- The vehicle is found to have undisclosed legal complications or is non-transferable.
- Budget Cars is unable to deliver the agreed vehicle due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., total loss before delivery).
- Loan/finance applications facilitated by us are rejected, and the customer chooses not to proceed with the purchase.
In such cases, a full refund of the booking amount will be initiated within 10 working days via the original mode of payment.
2.2 Non-Refund Scenarios
No refunds will be entertained in the following cases:
- Change of mind after the vehicle is delivered.
- Delays caused by RTO, finance institutions, or third-party service providers.
- Disputes after sale that are not covered under any warranty agreement (if applicable).
- Customized or specially ordered vehicles, which are strictly non-refundable.
- Once full payment is made and the invoice is issued, no refund will be provided.
2.3 Returns and Booking Cancellations
- Vehicles once sold cannot be returned or exchanged, unless specifically covered under a written agreement or warranty clause.
- Any return request (if applicable) must be made within 7 days of delivery, and the vehicle must be in the same sold condition, unused, and undamaged.
- The booking amount is non-refundable once paid, except in cases where the vehicle becomes unavailable due to dealership reasons.
- For cancellations after partial payment, any refund (if applicable) will be at the dealership’s sole discretion, subject to deductions of applicable charges.
3. Mode of Refund
All approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment (UPI/Bank Transfer/Credit/Debit Card) only. Cash refunds are not permitted under any circumstances.
