How it started
Budget Cars, located in Kalkere, Bangalore, was founded with a clear vision to make pre-owned car ownership accessible and trustworthy. Our founder began with just a few vehicles, selling them with dedication and honesty. Over time, he slowly stepped deeper into the automotive field, gaining valuable experience and knowledge in sales, purchasing, and servicing.
With confidence, passion, and the dream of turning this vision into reality, he established Budget Cars, investing in staff, resources, infrastructure, and a reliable car inventory. Guided by strong values and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Budget Cars has grown from a small venture into a trusted name in Karnataka’s pre-owned car market.
Meet Our Founder
Mr. ANANDRAJ NAGARAJ
Mr. ANANDRAJ NAGARAJ , Founder & CEO of Budget Cars, grew up in the village of Kolar, where he completed his schooling. From the young age of 15, he developed a deep passion for the motor industry. He began by selling old bikes and vehicles, gaining hands-on knowledge about repairs and maintenance.
In 2001, he started working as a transport site in-charge, managing the sale of yellow-board commercial vehicles and showroom operations. Over the years, he also partnered in ventures selling second-hand cars and commercial vehicles, further sharpening his skills in automotive sales and service.
After leaving his previous company, and inspired by his long-time dream, he started Budget Cars post-COVID with a clear mission and vision to make car ownership a reality for every household in Karnataka. Today, he actively oversees all operations, including purchases, sales, service, customer support, and legal documentation.
Coming from a farming family himself, Nagaraj has a deep respect for farmers. As part of his values, he often offers special discounts, reduces margins, and even waives up to 80% of transfer fees for farmers who need a vehicle.
